The sales network is organised in different ways depending on the country and
the areas involved: In Italy it is based on agents working in regional areas who
deal with the major consumers and retailers, who then arrange widespread market
penetration. In Europe the sales network focuses on retailers and large-scale
distribution companies, by means of area representatives backed up by active sales
management. In other countries there is continual contact with the major retailers,
with whom the sales management team maintains excellent relationships, supported
by participation in local sector trade fairs. In all matters Solchim Spa uses
modern means of communication including its Internet site and E-mail.

The company employs highly-qualified chemists who are constantly involved in research
for new products and new formulations, in carefully selecting the raw materials
used and in checking the quality of the finished product. Their contribution is
crucial for the company's development. Thanks to their continued research and
to the use of sophisticated modern equipment, new products can be created and
packaged by means of rational and properly codified operations, consistent with
the economics of the production processes. The company's working methods and quality
controls follow the guidelines laid down by the AIA (Italian Aerosol Association)
and FEA (European Aerosol Federation).

Purchasing is managed by a special office which selects suppliers by means of
careful checks, constantly keeping up to date with market demands. Under the guidance
of expert chemists the raw materials are processed and transformed into products
ready to be packaged. The packaging lines are manned by skilled and properly trained
personnel. Qualified mechanics carry out continuous supervised maintenance, and
service tools and machinery to ensure a constant production rate. Competent staff
manage the warehouse and distribution of finished products. The sales network
operates in direct contact with the sales management, which is co-ordinated and
led by the company chairman himself. The administration is backed by precise controls
and daily checks are made to ensure the health of the company's finances.
